      <description><![CDATA[Simulation &amp;amp  Modelling Engineer &amp; x2013  Cambridge &amp; x2013  Cutting&amp; x2011 Edge Technology Projects     I&amp; x2019 m supporting a growing engineering team in Cambridge who are looking to bring in an experienced Simulation &amp;amp  Modelling Engineer to work on a range of technically challenging  concept&amp; x2011 driven projects  This is a role for someone who enjoys diving into complex systems  understanding how they behave  and turning that insight into robust models that guide real&amp; x2011 world engineering decisions      You&amp; x2019 ll be working closely with multidisciplinary teams made up of physicists  engineers  mathematicians and designers  contributing to early&amp; x2011 stage ideas  shaping system behaviour  and helping to turn concepts into functioning prototypes  The work is fast&amp; x2011 paced  varied  and ideal for someone who thrives on solving difficult problems with a mix of analytical thinking and hands&amp; x2011 on engineering      The position centres around building and refining mathematical models using MATLAB and Simulink  analysing system interactions  and supporting the development of new technologies  You&amp; x2019 ll draw on your background in physics  electronics  mathematics or a related discipline  and you&amp; x2019 ll bring industry experience that allows you to approach challenges with both rigour and creativity  Experience within defence is helpful but absolutely not essential &amp; x2014  strong fundamentals and curiosity matter more      You&amp; x2019 ll be involved ]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[FPGA Firmware Electronics Engineer &amp; x2013  Defence &amp; x2013  Cambridge     We are currently seeking an experience Electronics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers that assist in the development of brand-new technologies for the Defence sector  with a focus on defence rather than offence      These technologies can encompass communications  sensors  detection  and other complex technologies within the Defence sector  As you will be working on defence projects  you will need to be able to obtain  or already hold  security clearance      As a smaller defence company  there is more flexibility in the projects you get to work on  Collaboration with other teams and external groups mean that you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and continuously learn new things while inventing exciting technologies      Experience with FPGA Firmware  such as VHDL or Verilog  will be ideal  If you already work in the Defence sector  this would be advantageous  however  we are more than happy to consider candidates from other sectors      With the growth of this company  future career development will be available for those who want to advance their career  As the company are looking for a few people in this team  we are also open to individuals who want to focus on their job while maintaining an interest in new technologies and fields      It is expected that you would hold a degree in an electronics engineering field that has led you into a career in electronics eng]]></description>
