An opportunity has arisen within a leading engineering company based in Gloucestershire for a Quality Engineer.

The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are as follows:
• Responsible for route cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Work closely with customers to ensure that any concerns are resolved
• Drive continuous improvement across the site
• Participate in internal auditing
• Complete FAIR’s (First Article Inspection Reports / ISIR)
• Ensure all on site activities are carried out in compliance with AS9100

To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills / experience:
• Strong quality background within aerospace, defence, automotive or electronics industry
• Fully conversant with ISO9001 / AS9100 / TS16949
• Internal auditing experience
• Auditor training is considered an advantage
• Strong problem solving skills – 8D, 5Y, Route Cause Analysis, CAPA, etc.
• Continuous Improvement experience – Lean / Six Sigma training is an advantage though not essential
