Team Leader - Meeting and Events based in Sussex
Are you currently doing the long commute into London and looking for something closer to home? A leading Travel Management Company is currently recruiting for a Team Leader for their Meeting and Events Department.

This is a permanent position.

You will be leading and developing a small team in all aspects of planning for Meetings and Events as well as keeping them updated on procedural changes.

You will be leading and developing a small team in all aspects of planning for Meetings and Events as well as keeping them updated on procedural changes.



JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Day to day management of the events department
-Ensuring resource levels are correctly managed and workload is evenly distributed
-Identify where changes/updates are needed and implemented in conjunction with the Operations Manager and to work with the Air Team leader to ensure the smooth running of the Air Events
-Hold Weekly meetings with the Events Department
-To analyze with individual event managers the profitability of each tour to ensure it is commercially successful and that all monies have been collected
-Training and Development if the team.


-To maintain up to date knowledge of key locations and venues

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Strong leadership skills
-Commercial awareness
-Professional personality
-Excellent Team player skills
-Excel and Word skills
