Africa Travel Consultant

Do you have extensive travel experience to Africa? Would you like the opportunity to put together tailor-made itineraries to Africa? My client is an expanding travel specialist who require a Africa Travel Consultant with direct experience of this fantastic destination.
Do you have extensive travel experience to Africa? Would you like the opportunity to put together tailor-made itineraries to Africa? My client is an expanding travel specialist who require a Africa Travel Consultant with direct experience of this fantastic destination.

Your role will be to tailor make luxury holidays over the phone to Africa whilst working towards departmental targets.

You will ensure that all luxury hotels, lodges, flights and excursions are booked correctly and maintain good customer service in this fast paced travel environment.

AFRICA TRAVEL CONSULTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Put together tailor-made luxury holidays to Africa.
- Ensure arrangements of flights, hotels, lodges and excursions are booked accurately.
- Discuss holiday requirements whilst putting your own travel knowledge forward.
- Handle any customer queries relating to a confirmed holiday.
- Bring new ideas that can generate new itineraries.
- Work towards set targets.

AFRICA TRAVEL CONSULTANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Proven travel sales experience within the travel industry.
- Direct experience of tailor-made travel sales to Africa.
- A passion for Africa with a proven travel profile to the country.
- Working knowledge of a CRS with ticketing experience.
- Computer literate in Microsoft excel and word is vital.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Confident and clear phone manner.
- Excellent attention to detail.

THE PACKAGE:
A basic salary up to £24,000 depending on experience plus commission with an OTE £30,000 in your first year.
