Medical Device Development Engineer, Austria

Located amongst postcard perfect scenery in Austria, our client is in the top 3 companies in the world, developing and commercialising innovative electrical/electronic medical device products internationally.

Currently they are boosting the numbers in the R&D department and looking for a Development Engineer with emphasis on hardware and firmware.
Daily tasks will include
– Feasibility activities in preparation of product development
– Design of hardware and firmware specific to the project requirements
– Development of processes for manufacturing
– Building up and maintaining relations to suppliers of custom components or services
– Verification and validation of devices and processes
– Documentation complying with regulatory standards and internal procedures
– Preparation of production files and procedures for the projects

Towards that end, they are looking for a degree qualified person in Electronics, Biomedical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar, and with commercial experience in R&D from the medical technology, automobile or aircraft industry sectors considered an asset;

Good communication skills are essential - MUST speak English fluently, German a bonus.

Relocation assistance will be provided if travelling from abroad.
