A leading supplier of components and products into the aerospace industry in Hampshire is currently looking for the next addition to their manufacturing team in line with a period of continual growth.

The responsibilities of the Production Engineer are as follows:
• Manage the introduction of new products and apply knowledge and skills to new technology to improve quality and productivity
• Ensure production engineering is represented at Engineering change meetings and analysis of non-conformance
• Tooling and test equipment design and estimation of new product costs and maintenance of costing standards
• Take a role in continuous improvement activities across production and to take a role in health and safety regulations

To fulfil these requirements for the Production Engineer you must have the following skills/experience:
• Experience of working within a highly regulated electro-mechanical environment
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Taking a role in NPI activities and analysis of MRP systems
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and EB/TIG Welding experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
