Regional HR Advisor

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Regional HR Manager in delivering the HR agenda to the Region.

The Background

Market leading organisation with an excellent reputation for customer service, innovation and fantastic products is currently seeking to recruit a Regional HR Advisor the North West.

You’ll be based in West Yorkshire 2-3 days per week and the remaining days will be spent in the region managing all day to day HR issues throughout Yorkshire, North West down to Birmingham.



The Role

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Regional HR Manager in delivering the HR agenda to the Region.

You’ll do this by supporting and advising Store Managers to develop the capability of their people and through being a visible presence in all their stores, responding to local needs in addition to implementing company HR practice in a consistent way.



The successful candidate will be working alongside the Regional HR Manager in managing all day-to-day HR issues including:

Providing expert ER advice within the area, escalating any serious cases to the HR Manager
Supporting the resourcing manager in the recruitment for store management
Supporting the roll out of the PDR process through deliver of the PDR workshops for new managers
Supporting the region in managing and reducing absence through company absence management procedures
Reporting on monthly KPI absence statistics

The Person

You’ll have proven experience of working within a fast-paced multi-site RETAIL environment and will be a career-minded, confident HR professional with excellent HR & ER experience and good employment law knowledge.

Of graduate calibre CIPD you’ll be a customer orientated professional who can work on your own initiative, effectively supporting your region.
