A Tier One Investment Bank is currently migrating its local regulatory reporting infrastructure to be complaint with the requirements of the new COREP regime as set out by the European Banking Authority (EBA).
The main deliverable of the project team is to effect the necessary changes to the local reporting systems across the impacted / in scope European locations and the surrounding Finance business processes.
Including all reporting requirements and ownership.
These changes need to be compliant with the strategic requirements including mapping local data to the Finance Data Structure (FDS) and Finance Data Warehouse (FDW)
The project team analyses business requirements, defines to-be processes and identifies and documents a Gap Analysis.
It performs and supports all test phases and end user training.
The project team is responsible for co-ordination of all data conversion activities, data takeon and go live activities.
The role involves completion of the following:
· Project Management
Support provided to the project PMO function through the preparation of weekly progress reporting, as well as input into the preparation of OpCo and Steering packs
Attendance of project meetings and conferences to represent EMEA COO Change Management views and requirements
Provide support to the overall management of the project, with responsibility for delivering the objectives
· Change Management Initiatives – Work as part of the project team to understand business requirements and use as basis for the preparation of business requirement documentation.
Sign off business requirements with Finance CFOs, production teams and SAP IT.
Work with IT developers to ensure build meets business requirements.
· Testing – Preparation of procedures, scripts and logs before/during testing.
Perform various types of system and functionality testing, including regression, component, SIT, UAT and OAT
· Go-Live support – Support end users during Pre- and Post Go-Live phase
· Training – Prepare training documentation and user manuals and provide end user training
The incumbent should leverage off previous experience to provide guidance across the rollout to ensure quality and consistency of the team’s product/deliverable.
· Proficient and demonstratable project management skills
· Broad understanding of regulatory reporting requirements
· Understanding of Investment Banking products
· Banking background (in an industry leader) preferable
· Financial reporting project experience (full lifecycle)
· System implementation experience (incl.
system testing)
· Report and process documentation preparation
