The company provide sustainable handling solutions for the defence industry and their products include but are not limited to; tail lifts, loader cranes and truck mounted fork-lifts.
Whilst knowledge of their products is not essential it is highly desirable that you have a working knowledge of submitting tenders to governmental or defence sectors/industries.

As a Tender Manager / Project Manager you will report into the Operation Director and create an internal focus for compilation of tender replies and Project Management of on-going Contracts.
The main duties will include reviewing, commenting on and archiving Contracts and Agreements, including amending or preparing new contracts as required.
A large part of your time will be spent preparing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as part of a service contract.
Further to the SLAs you will partake in Supply Contracts, Purchase Contracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements etc.
Other key duties will include:
• Organising response material for tenders and larger requests for quotations
• Gathering information from required sources to form tender material
• Preparing material for submission
• Liaise with suppliers for pricing, lead times and technical information
• Prepare delivery schedules
• Project Review activities
Key requirements for Tender Manager / Project Manager:
• Knowledge of project / bid / tenders management ideally within the international defence industry or government sector.
• International business experience would be advantageous
• A relevant project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or comparable would be desirable
• Technical knowledge of hydraulics and/or commercial vehicles would be desirable
• Knowledge of other languages would prove useful.
