This is a new position to the organisation and they will need a strong candidate to lead and ensure the departments are communicating from start to finish of set projects.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their established engineering firm in the North Kent.

This is a new position to the organisation and they will need a strong candidate to lead and ensure the departments are communicating from start to finish of set projects.


Overview
· Maintain an overview of all the development projects and Coordinate the progress of those projects.
· Administer various electronic workflows, for example: for new design projects, for the introduction of new parts, for document changes.
· To co-ordinate projects between HQ
· Project manage some of the department’s projects
· Coordinate the introduction of design changes where special coordination is necessary,
· Provide general support to the Technical Department and other departments as appropriate.

Personal skills required:
· Good organising skills.
· A proactive, structured and systematic approach.
· To work well under pressure.
· Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
· The ability to manage one’s own work load.
· The ability to work to deadlines and fulfil the company needs.
· The ability to learn quickly, attend seminars/conferences when required.

Technical skills and qualifications:
· Some engineering qualifications (eg ONC) Or equivalent experience.
· General knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering.


· Knowledge of design and ability to interpret drawings.
