INTERIM PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (Automotive) - Contract 1 year Poland

Purple Squirrel have been engaged by a major supplier to Automotive industry to search for an Interim Procurement Specilaist to lead major Purchasing programmes which will reshape and streamline the business.


Purple Squirrel have been engaged by a major supplier to Automotive industry to search for an Interim Procurement Specilaist to lead major Purchasing programmes which will reshape and streamline the business.



With a number of programmes ongoing, our client requires a senior candidate in order to take charge of a sizeable project team (Poland), providing hands on direction to the team, while engaging with both suppliers, engineering, manufacturing and associated board level stakeholders.



The role reports into the Global headquarters (Germany); the overall strategy has already been broadly scoped, so this opportunity is focused around implementation and adding to bottom-line value from the Purchasing team.

Also to make any recommendations and become champion for process changes which would achieve purcasing functional performance improvements.


Initially the contract duration is expected to be one year and will be in Euros.


Location is Poland


DESIRED PROFILE for INTERIM PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

- Precision Engineering Components category experience is essential (electro and mechanical).

Automtive preferred.

- Previous experience managing strategic supplier partners would be a significant advantage

- Senior level change management experience is essential

- Stakeholder management up to and including board level

- Excellent negotiation skills

- Previous exposure leading and training procurement teams

- SAP

- Instill Excellence as a practice rather than an ideal
