Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician

This is the ideal role for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias, looking to develop their career with a successful and expanding company.

With ongoing development in Teesside, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their growing team.


This is the ideal role for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician, with an Electrical bias, looking to develop their career with an expanding company in a growing sector.


As a Maintenance Technician with this company, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment and assist with plant improvements in accordance with company and legal requirements.


Your duties will include:


- Reactive Maintenance, Electrical and Mechanical.

- Planned Maintenance, Plant Improvements and Installations

- Minimise plant down-time in the event of breakdowns

- Ensuring all relevant replacement parts and stock are maintained.

To be considered for the role of Maintenance Engineer, you must have experience:


- in a multi-disciplined environment.

- of working at heights and in confined spaces.

- of PLC controlled machinery and hydraulic equipment

- or at least 5 years in a similar role in Medium / Heavy Industry

Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills and be IT literate.


Although not essential, experience with welding and fabrication would be a distinct advantage to your application.
