Software & Product Support Analyst - Altrincham, Cheshire
Package: £25-30k, Pension & Private healthcare
A leading supplier IT software & Services require a Software/Product Support Analyst to
provide effective application and technical support within agreed Service Level Agreements to the required quality and customer satisfaction standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide a centralised technical support service
Investigate and resolve in-depth customer queries and advanced technical issues.
Provide high level fault fixing and advice service.
Handle the management of calls and escalation of queries.
Work within customer service level agreements.
Liaise with third parties on customer hardware & software faults where contracted to do so
Develop product knowledge and skill sets to enhance familiarity with products and solutions.
Provide assistance to Implementation Consultants on-site.
Key Skills:
Customer focused, able to diagnose, impact assess and respond appropriately
Strong Application Support skills with external customers and experience in a LAN/WAN environment
Strong SQL skills
SQL Server Skills
Must work well in a team environment
Good communication skills.
Able to take on responsibility and good under pressure
Self motivated.
Preferable Skills:
Supported applications in a Managed Service environment (preferred)
Knowledge of Financial Systems products (preferred)
Knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET and XML (preferred)
Support experience in a WebServices environment (preferred)
Experienced in IIS/Website configuration or implementation (preferred)
