Leading retailer / wholesaler of health hair and beauty are looking to appoint a talented Deputy / Assistant Manager to support the successful running of their retail / cash and carry branch based in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Paying £16,000 – £19,000 OTE + Benefits + 20% Discount

The business supplies quality products to the professional hair and beauty market place.

The role of the Assistant Manager is to support the Store Manager in order to run the branch efficiently and effectively.

Meet sales targets and deliver the best in customer service.

You will come from a fast paced, customer service retail or wholesale environment.

Ideally you will be a car driver.



Key Duties:


Operations

· Manage the team
· Staff training and induction.
· Security of premises
· Till procedures and maintenance
· Banking procedures
· Goods-in procedures
· Stock transfer procedures
· HQ branch procedures


Business Development

· Achieve sales targets
· Generate new business opportunities
· Develop your market knowledge of the Hair and Beauty Sector
· Customer Visits


Merchandising / Product

· Meeting with sales representatives
· Ensure staff are aware of new promotions, products, special events and training activities within the branch.
· Ensure all staff understand customer and staff incentive schemes.
· Ensure all merchandising/displays/stock/shelves are clean and tidy
· Ensure all stock coding and pricing are correct.
· Attendance at stock takes
