£27,000 - £35,000 + healthcare + pension + 24 days holiday

Excellent opportunity for an electrical design engineer to join a leading engineering company that will offer you a technically challenging role and will invest heavily into your training and development.



This company have been established for over 40 years and specialise in the design and manufacture or radar and sonar systems that are supplied into the defence industry.



Currently they are diversifying into different industries and off the back of that they are willing multi million pound contracts.

Due to this increase in work load they are looking for an electrical design engineer to join the vibrant and growing design team to carry out the design work of these high-tech innovate products and systems.



In this role the successful electrical design engineer will be involved with the design of circuits and components within sonar and radio systems, they will also be involved in meeting with clients and dealing with test specification.

This will be a day based position with a large amount of travel going on site visits to Scotland and further afield.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced electrical design engineer ideally HND or degree qualified with knowledge of mechanical design and enclosures.

You must be eligible for UK security clearance.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an electrical design engineer who wants to a role that will be technically interesting and challenging role for a company that are growing and expanding.

The Role:
*Electrical design of radio and sonar equipment
*Digital and Analogue design
*Design of circuit components and enclosures
*Training and development.
*Working on high tech multi million pound design projects.

The Person

*Time served electrical design engineer
*Flexibility and willing to travel even at short notice
*Being from a military background would be beneficial
*Ideally have experience with Radar and Sonar systems.
*Must have experience with AutoCAD.
