A leading alternative power generation company based in West Sussex is looking for the next Supplier quality engineer to help drive improvements across the site.



The responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer are as follows:
•Maintaining a transparent relationship acting as a single point of contact with the supplier base
• Producing supplier and product specific quality reports as required by the business
• auditing supplier base ensuring that it is consistent with ISO9001/TS16949 as internally
• Training supplier base on company specific quality requirements
• Developing and maintaining a continual improvement ethos and activities throughout the supply chain.



To fulfil these requirements for the Supplier Quality Engineer position you must have the following skills/experience:
• Educated to degree level / equivalent experience
• Strong manufacturing background
• Automotive experience
• Proven ability to drive successful improvement projects in supply chain
• Proven experience in Internal/External Auditing to TS16949
• Experience with implementing APQP/PPAP/FMEA’s
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
