Excellent contract opportunity for an IBM WebSphere developer in Paris.



The developer will operate in the EAI Competency Center, which is part of the company's central Integration Team undertaking day to day competency tasks.



Role:

- EAI projects: designing, developing, testing and documenting new integrations built on the WebSphere platform
- Level 2 functional support: supporting live integrations on the WebSphere platform, managing change requests.



Profile Sought:

- IBM WebSphere Message Broker v7 is essential (at least 1 project experience)
- IBM WBI and JCA adapters experience is desirable (SAP, JDBC, Jtext)
- IBM MQ Series (v6) experience
- Good knowledge of SAP integration technology: Idoc, ALE, BAPI and RFC (SAP ECC 6)
- Thorough knowledge of messaging concepts and integration patterns (pub/sub, request/reply, fire & forget, join, split, aggregration)
- Thorough knowledge of flat file, XML and Idoc formats
- Thorough knowledge of database staging technologies (stored procedure, querying, SQL,
record triggering, etc)
- Hands-on, no-nonsense approach
- Quick learner, team player
- Mapping node (v.7) is advantageous but not essential
- Language: fluent English is required, French is appreciated

Occasional travelling during design and test phases of projects might be required
