We are looking a Project Manager to manage and contribute to the delivery of all IT components of projects & Programmes in order to meet business objectives.

We are looking a Project Manager to manage and contribute to the delivery of all IT components of projects & Programmes in order to meet business objectives.

Qualification

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience and/ or relevant IT qualification with strong exposure to Insurance domain

Skills Experience and Knowledge

 Previous project experience with proven track record of delivery in small – medium projects
 Total experience of 8-10 years in IT
 Accredited at foundation level and making progress towards/have attained practitioner level (e.g.

Prince2 practitioner,
ITEL, ISEB, APMP)
 Good awareness of Project Management disciplines
 Good Experience of working on various project methodologies – Waterfall, Agile etc
 Experience of budget management
 Proven decision making ability
 Ability to manage and develop people effectively
 Good communication & influencing skills
 Awareness of market trends in Insurance & the IT industry
 Good understanding of end to end IT delivery lifecycle.
 Line Management responsibility for up to 10 direct reports
 Task allocation and delivery responsibility for a project team of up to 50 resources in a matrix management structure
 Contributes to the setting of project budgets
 Management of project budget up to £1million
