The Redline Group are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer - Package Design to design and produce the Electrical and Control engineering aspects of compressor packages intended for the oil and gas industry.

Based from offices in Hertfordshire you will be responsible for the design, management of subcontractors and major decision making within your technical area.

The Role:
• Produce/check drawings and documents.

(Types of drawings include, control panel specifications, service diagrams, logic diagrams, interconnection diagrams, loop diagrams, cable schedules, BOM’s,
• Produce proposal electrical diagrams for inclusion in contract tender.
• Assist in tender proposals based on technical understanding of client requirements and capability
• Co-ordinate sub-contractors.
• Sub-contractor liaison and technical management
• Client Liaison – Project milestones, update and technical direction
• Make decisions related to major modifications outside original scope of supply involving additional costs and man hours.
• Provide advice concerning detailed selection of sub-supply equipment.

About You:
• In depth knowledge and design of electrical circuits diagrams.
• Practical experience of designing equipment/installations in the Oil and Gas industry.

(Preferred)
• AutoCAD Electrical usage - standard parts, sub-assembly equipment and special sub-contract items.
• Practical experience of ATEX installations.
• Knowledge of PLC hardware and/or software design.

(Including Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc for example)
• Electrical qualification
