Regional support Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery manager / area manager wishing to join an organisation in the capacity of a regional support manager to support the progression and development of a portfolio of nurseries.


A fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery manager / area manager wishing to join an organisation in the capacity of a regional support manager to support the progression and development of a portfolio of nurseries.


This is a role which would be very suited to a manager who has excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to naturally motivate and inspire people.


You will be joining a very well established organisation which is in need of a passionate and driven managers who is able to support the portfolio of settings to their next stage.

You will be responsible for covering the settings when ever needed and supporting the managers on a daily basis


You will have an excellent track record and provide evidence of managing and leading a setting positively, with either a good or outstanding Ofsted inspection.


You will be someone who is dedicated to delivering excellent standards of care and education, developing an excellent reputation within the local communities.


You will have a genuine enthusiasm for training and development of people and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with the staff teams.


You will be responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, some of your responsibilities will include:



  • To Achieve and maintain high standards of care

  • To Effectively lead and manage the staff team, manage staff recruitment and retention

  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable

  • To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times

  • To Implement an effective parent liaison program


You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:



  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent

  • 3 years' post-qualification experience and 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines

  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation

  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards

  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team

  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities
