The Redline Group are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer – Solidworks.

Our customer has won a number of international projects and requires contract support to see them through and exceptionally busy period.

You will be based from offices mostly commutable from the London facing borders of Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Sussex and most of London.

Position Overview:
• You will form part of an existing design team to modify an develop existing product range
• As each project is bespoke, you will liaise with site engineers to translate concepts into 3D models.
• Involvement may be from a component or assembly drawing, through to the larger system and how it may integrate within space constraints.

About You:
• Highly proficient in Solidworks
• Experience developing bespoke mechanical products, particularly those to be at the “heavy” end of engineering.

Handling or plant equipment for example.
