Qualified Fixed Asset Integration Specialist (3 month min contract)

A Fixed Asset Integration expert (ACCA, ACA, CPA) is required for our client, an IT industry leader based in the Canary Wharf, on a 3 month contract.

Candidates must be highly experienced with implementation of Oracle 11i or R12, Fixed Asset Ledger, General Ledger and change management to be successful in this project.

Experience in construction accounting with would be a plus.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Fixed Asset Integration Team and supporting the Project Lead in dealing with integration activities of allocated countries to the UK.

  • Performing the monthly close process including: FA sub-ledger to GL reconciliation, roll forward scheduling and go-live tracking & completion calculations for the construction process.

  • Performing investigations and analysis of invoices and transactions

  • Perform a REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) conversion and asset transfers between REIT qualifying and non-qualifying entities.

  • Facilitate and support data migration for US GAAP and local GAAP books; validating data, preparing WebADI templates and performing UAT's and data testing.

Key requirements

  • Qualified ACCA, ACA or CPA

  • Strong, working experience of Oracle 11i and/or R12 Fixed Asset and General Ledger

  • Advanced Excel with ability to do macros

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP

  • 3+ years experience in a large, public company, US would be a distinct advantage

  • Self motivated team player with superb verbal and written English

Key Benefits

This role is paying a rate £400p.d.

(depending on experience) and is expected to last 3 months.
