Agency Sales Support Executive

Do you have experience within agency sales and supporting business development teams? My client are a global, industry leading travel company located in Southampton with an exciting opportunity seeking a Partnership Relations Executive to join their business development sales team.

* Support Business Development management in planning and implementing Business Development plans

* Handling inbound queries from travel partners to resolve or redirect as necessary.

* Responsibility for proactively driving MICE business in UK

* Regular communication to, research and expansion of MICE database

* Owner of Partnership Relations inbox and phone line

* Always looking for ways to improve Partnership Relations

* Develop sales tools resources and presentations

* Assisting Business Development team, travel partners and other assigned accounts

* Regularly monitoring and reporting on business activities

* Management of Business Development Director's support, diary and travel

* Daily updates with Business Development Director and Partnership Relations Manager

* Establish and develop trade partners' knowledge of product, resources and online booking engine

* Management of the planning, co-ordination and implementation of trade partner co-op events

* Must have travel experience in dealing with either travel agents or tour operators in a sales support role

* Degree in sales/marketing, economics, business administration or related field of study

* Good phone etiquette and excellent phone presence to maximize Business development opportunities

* Ability to build personal credibility by way of solid product knowledge, services, procedures

* A proactive and tenacious self-starter, with the confidence to manage own tasks

* Strong relationship building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

* Enthusiastic and passionate with a "can do" attitude

* Hard working, driven individual

* Good analytical skills

* Strong attention to detail is required with regular reviews of performance against plan

* Ability and willingness to travel within UK, Europe and overseas when necessary
