The Role and Candidate

You will have at least 5 years' experience working in residential property and be comfortable in handling your own caseload consisting of a mix of freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, Rights to Buy, Shared Ownership Schemes and lease extension files.

Experience of managing a team would also be a distinct advantage.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Providing professional and competent legal advice and services in accordance with SRA Code of Conduct

- Generating fee incomes that are in accordance with company targets

- Collecting of monies on account and conducting billing procedures

- Business development and networking

- Assisting fee earners within department with workload in times of absence and high work load

- Training and supporting legal assistants and paralegals

- Keeping knowledge and skills up to date and attending training as and when required

If you have experience running your own caseload, supervising a team, are able to work as part of a team and autonomously, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are able to meet targets and have excellent IT and organisational skills, this role could be for you!
