The Role and Candidate

An experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will work solely for the Partner to enable her to lead the department and support team members.

Able to use your own initiative, you will display a high level of self management and will have excellent organisational skills.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

- To prepare correspondence and documents through audio typing, dictation and word processing using the firm's chosen software
- Assist in the preparation of documentation under the supervision of the Partner
- To attend clients both in person and on the telephone and to take instructions\provide support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firms client care standards
- Opening, closing and retrieval of client files
- To prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch
- To either directly deal with photocopying or arrange for this to be done
- To make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up to date diary for the Partner
- To arrange meeting & conference rooms as necessary
- To provide guidance to other more junior and temporary secretaries who may from time to time be asked to assist
- To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have responsibilitytowards self development
- To carry out additional tasks as and when required
- To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and client's documentation and information

Key skills required for role:
- Strong audio typing capabilities
- IT literate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Organisational and prioritisation skills

Working hours 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday - Friday.
