IT Sales - Business Development Manager

My Client is a well-established IT Security and Networking solutions company who are currently enjoying a period of growth, to maximise the growth of the business they are now looking to hire an additional Business Development Manager to join the team.

This role is to develop new sales leads and contacts as well as to generate new and pipeline business.

You will be looking after all warm leads generated from the marketing campaigns, with the main focus of the role on building rapport and to further nurture relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:



* Following up on warm leads & new business opportunities and setting up meetings


* Communicating new product developments to prospective clients


* Meet potential prospects by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your existing network

Requirements:



* Understanding of the sales process and sales strategy


* Previous experience in a sales / business development role within the IT industry


* Proven ability to nurture sale leads and handle objections


* Ability to pitch successfully on the phone and face to face (when required)


* Experience using a CRM tool


* Limited travel may be required to events and trade shows

This is not a cold calling role, as all your calls will be to companies who have expressed an interest.
