The Opportunity

My client are well-established within their field and are looking to expand their sales team with money hungry and hard working sales people.

The Role

  • Making outbound calls to generate sales opportunities

  • Building beneficial relationships with potential clients and existing customers

  • Liaising with other teams as required, in particular sales and account management teams

  • Remaining focussed on sales targets and identify and deliver activity that achieves them

  • Identifying and implement opportunities to acquire new prospects

  • Interacting with relevant databases and systems to inform and manage sales activity and keep effective records

  • Responding and communicate promptly with all new leads to effectively develop all opportunities

  • Responding to sales enquiries (via, e-mail, telephone or via site visits) to achieve agreed sales targets

  • Any other projects and activities that are within the capabilities of the jobholder

Skills Required

  • B2B Telemarketing experience required although candidates with strong experience in other areas may still be considered

  • Demonstrable success in telesales, telemarketing or tele-research roles

  • Commercially minded with experience of working to achieve targets

  • Experienced in calling professional corporate /organisations

  • Have sufficient analytical experience to complete research that identifies relevant information on prospective customers

  • Understanding of marketing channels for lead generation e.g.

    digital and web, marketing, direct response, social media etc.

  • Professional phone manner with a consultative approach and tone of voice

  • Confident in overcoming rejection and setting challenging goals on a daily basis

  • Proven computer skills essential including Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce CRM (preferable)

  • Self-motivated, proactive individual with good time management and prioritisation skills
