Jnr Sous Chef

A Jnr Sous Chef is sought by this Boutique Hotel.The cuisine is British with a modern twist.

All ingredients are sourced and prepared freshly and sustainably using local suppliers wherever possible.
The role
Ideally located within Sheffield this establishment provides a relaxed fine dining experience.

Joining an established brigade, a background in fine dining is a must.

The working hours are 45 hours pw (Straight Shifts) 5 days pw on a rota basis,to include some breakfast shifts 6am-3pm, and the kitchen closes at 8.30pm Mon-Sat and 6pm Sunday.
The successful applicant will be a strong all rounder, who is flexible and hard working.

Help in the day to day running of the kitchen.

A desire to teach and willingness to nurture are essential, all applicants should be dedicated to maintaining the high standards already established at this popular hotel.

Qualifications/Experience required:
You must have NVQ 1&2 or equivalent and experience as Jnr Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant .

It is also necessary that applicants are passionate about food and presentation.
