QC Engineer - Mechanical

Duration: 12 Months +
Location: Aix-en-Provence
Rate: All-inclusive daily rate

Have you got what it takes to work on a project run as a consortium? Do you enjoy working in mainland Europe? Are you an experience QA/QC Supervisor with a strong bias towards Mechanical engineering?

Provide assistance to the Project Quality Manager and support activities for the Quality department.
Ensuring the compliance of client requirements on site in terms of controls and inspections.

Also ensuring the quality of mechanical operations (welding, mechanical tests, painting tests) on construction or manufacturer site.

·Realize actions of surveillance
·Build/check End of Manufacturing Reports.
·Participate to the kick off meetings with the subcontractors or suppliers.
·Ensure the control and the follow-up of the reception of raw materials, components and/or equipment.
·Follow up and proceed to regular inspections of the construction and/or prefabrication processes and works at the subcontractors/suppliers workshops and on construction site.
·Validate the process of fabrication (mechanical, isometrics, weldings, Non Destructive Tests, painting, Factory Acceptance Test, commissioning tests, etc…) following the quality requirements defined on the project, and the standards or technical specifications.
·Prepare, check or approve the applicable documents, the templates, the control plans, the records and assessments.
·Ensure the follow up, the checking and the recording of notifications, inspection tests or assessments, or other quality evidences through the control plans or quality plans.
·Perform site inspections, witness the mechanical tests, check and follow up of the FAT, non-destructive tests, commissioning tests.
·Open/manage the non-conformities (curative, corrective & preventive actions).

·Knowledge of Quality standards (ISO 9001)
·Inspections / audits experiences
·Computer skills (Office suite)
·Fluent English / French
·Knowledge of standards EN13480, DESP
·Nuclear work experience is recommended (knowledge of French order for Nuclear Installation (2012/02/07)) + standards ESPN / RCCM
