Customer Care Team Leader

This global and recognisable business is well established and currently experiencing an exciting growth phase.

There is an opportunity for a driven and talented Team Leader to join the Customer Care division with a focus on improving the customer experience and driving team performance.

Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be accountable for:

  • Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 15 customer service representatives

  • Communicating targets and KPIs to your team and monitoring performance

  • Delivering training and ensuring performance plans and succession paths are in place

  • Acting as a point of escalation

  • Collating performance related information and reporting to management

  • Improving internal procedures and processes to ensure consistency as well as high performance

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Proven team leader experience, ideally within the freight industry preferably with a B2C focus

  • A passion for managing and leading a team

  • Demonstrated experience in improving processes and driving change

  • Clear and strong communication skills coupled with superior customer service skills
