Team Leader

Our client, an on-demand delivery service, has an excellent opportunity for a Team Leader to join their vibrant and dynamic team.

As a Team Leader what will you be doing?

  • The maestro of our operations room, linking all roles to one, to create a perfect service
  • Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training (like a football coach)
  • Help identify and onboard new talent to join your team
  • One-to-ones, building the best team in the world.
  • Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals (KPI & Performance management)
  • Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Generate and share comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines (excel is your best friend)
  • Provide a world class service
  • Continuous process improvement (Internal/External)
  • Communicate efficiently in both written and verbal situations
  • Handling all escalated queries

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills: both verbal and written
  • Salesforce or CRM experience
  • Previous experience managing / supervising a team
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment is essential
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills
  • Evidence that you can perform under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour
  • Passionate about keeping every customer coming back
  • Knowledge of process improvement methods (Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen)
