Account Manager - Recycling

Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Account Manager to join the head office team in Taunton.

What will I be responsible for?

As an Account Manager, you will develop existing accounts through growth and retention, and also sell the company full product portfolio whilst using innovation to enhance relationships and increase revenue.

- Achieve targeted growth and retention in the areas set by the business.
- Maintain accurate customer records through the use of SAP CRM, correct diary management and monthly reports
- Actively promote the company brands, products and service to nominated customers.
- To work closely with the bid team to deliver detailed bids/quotations that meet the requirements of the customer
- To work closely with operations team to ensure the co-ordination of projects, customer delivery and customer satisfaction are achieved.
- Maintain relationship with the customer post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain referrals.

Taking ownership of the customer and their issues.
- Develop and maintain strategic account and opportunity plans.

Who are they looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with an excellent knowledge of the waste and recycling industry, and a good level of commercial expertise.  Ideally the candidate will have at least two years’ account management experience, and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of managing and enhancing customer relationships and revenue.

Great people skills are pivotal to this role, with an understanding of the importance to deliver outstanding customer service to nominated accounts through structured account review processes. 

You will also:

- Be a strong commercially astute negotiator
- Possess a full driving licence is essential
