An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a rapidly growing, successful start-up energy organisation.

My client are a leading energy business that provides otherwise inaccessible expertise, allowing businesses access to new funding streams, delivering, developing and organising infrastructure and emerging technologies installations to optimise energy usage.
Working specifically to deliver development of modelling tools and capability to better understand the opportunities and challenges for electric heating in existing homes

As a successful Project Manager you will have
, Experience delivering software focused projects
, Experience working with the Energy or IT sector
, Prince2 certification
, The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
, A high level of self-discipline and be highly results orientated, especially in a start-up environment
, Demonstrable experience of managing budgets and people successfully, and of building, managing and improving client relationships during the project lifecycle.

, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
, High attention to detail
, The ability to offer fantastic customer service
, A real passion for project management and the drive to learn and improve your skills

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for:

, Working throughout the full project lifecycle on a range of projects, ensuring that all projects are planned, communicated and delivered effectively.

, Driving and co-ordinating the deliverables to enable the business to maintain their competitive technical advantage.

, Liaising with customers and occasionally support
, On site implementation work
, Updating and writing documentation
, Training and mentoring other members of the team
, Contribute to the planning of the product road map.

, Provide ad-hoc reports on project progress

Located in Birmingham this role is offering a salary of £40-50,000 dependent upon experience and is commutable from Worcester, Malvern, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Coventry, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Stourport-on-Severn, Bewdley, Sutton Coldfield, Droitwich Spa, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Tamworth, Litchfield, Solihull, West Bromwich, Walsall and Warwick
