2nd Line Service Desk Analyst required in Slough (Some European travel involved)

Concept are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst (2nd Line) for a client based in Slough

The client are looking for a self-starter, being able to retain end to end ownership and resolution of calls working within the IS Service Operations teams.

You must also be willing to travel at short notice to European cities for support purposes and have an EU or British passport for travel purposes.

Responsibilities of the role –

  • Provide a single point of contact for all users of IS, logging and managing support incidents maintaining ownership of the issue until resolved

  • Provision of first line support, undertaking 2nd line tasks and some 3rd line support where required

  • Working on Windows (7 and 10)/ Office (2003/2010/2016)/ desktop/ printer/ phone hardware based tickets and associated software

  • You will also be required to work in central London once per week – travel paid for

The ideal candidate should have an excellent working knowledge with the following -

  • Experience in a high volume support role manging and taking ownership of 1st/2nd line incidents

  • Understanding Active Directory, Windows Technologies and basic hardware fault finding

  • Providing support via the telephone and remote desktop services

  • Ideally have experience working in a ITIL focused environment

Long term contract – starting immediately

Normal working hours Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 based in the clients offices in Slough.

Rate - £140 per day (umbrella / Ltd Company)
