Sales Manager

Are you an experienced call centre manager? An excellent opportunity has arisen based in Surrey working for an established and successful long haul tour operator managing a call centre of Sales Consultants and Homeworkers.

You will have strong experience in man-management, leadership and staff development.

- Lead, direct and motivate a team of approximately 20 staff including homeworkers to achieve the company sales goals
- Setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency, sales and quality
- Motivating and inspiring the team to achieve results
- Managing the daily running of the call centre.
- Monitoring random calls to improve quality, minimize errors and track individual team member performance.
- Reviewing the performance of staff, identifying training needs and planning training sessions.
- Organizing staffing, including shift patterns and the number of staff required to meet demand
- Taking ownership of the recruitment and training process for all new starters

- Must have experience in managing a call centre / reservations team
- Travel industry experience is an advantage
- Proven experience in motivating, supporting and developing a team
- Excellent people skills
- The ability to manage change and lead others through periods of change
- Calm and able to work well under pressure
