Internal Sales Representative

Internal Sales Representative Required – Huthwaite

Snows Timber is one of the leading importers and processors of Softwood Products in the UK and operates from four manufacturing sites; Glastonbury, Andover, Huthwaite and Kingswinford.

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an experience Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Huthwaite.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as an Internal Sales Representative, you will be required to provide support and assistance to the external sales team, working as part of a ‘buddy’ system you will respond to customer queries, provide product information and ensure a high standard of customer service across our customer base.

Daily tasks and responsibilities will also include:

- Working co-operatively with assigned External Sales Representative to help ensure the allocated territory is achieving budget and set targets.
- Deal with Sales enquiries, support existing customers and initiate new business and customers.
- Input quotes onto Kerridge and actively chase quotations.
- Assist customers who visit the site with an enquiry, order or complaint.
- Ensue that customer sales records are correctly and adequately maintained and that the necessary liaison is maintained between the sales office, Credit Control and Yard Operations.
- To input sales orders into the system.

Who are we looking for?

As our ideal Internal Sales Representative, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Customer Focussed – Able to establish good working relationships with people and provide a customer-orientated service, maintaining high customer service levels.
- Well-organised and able to work systematically, ensuring accuracy and attention to details at all times.
- Good mathematical ability and understanding of both metric and imperial measurements to be able to calculate prices, sizes and understanding margins etc.

in relation to timber products.
- Effective communication skills to provide advice and information to customers and staff about product, quality, availability and delivery.
- Helpful and positive attitudes to all situations to ensure the company gains as much business as possible as a result of prompt and reliable service to customers.
