Salary - £35,000

My client is highly regarded medium sized provider with multiple care homes across the South East.

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Home Manager for one of their leading homes based in Braintree, Essex.

The home caters for over 45 older persons with Alzheimer's and the CQC rating is 'Good'.

The services needs a breath of fresh air and a manager to bring new ideas.

The Registered Home Manager must have the following

  • NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years managing a residential home

  • Experience managing a 75+ bedded home

  • Excellent CQC track record (proved via inspection reports)

  • Strong incident handling skills

  • Hands on management approach

  • Excellent care delivery management skills

The Registered Home Manager's responsibilities are to

  • Line Manage all staff in the your provision

  • Oversee care delivery

  • Report to the Regional Manager

  • Market and promote the home to ensure full occupancy and profitability

  • Be the leading professional for Safeguarding

  • Plan and implement actions to maintain ‘Outstanding' CQC rating

  • Provide accurate monthly and annual budget reports

  • To manage service development planning, costing and preparation

  • To be a company lead in respect of the recruitment, selection and retention of staff for which the post holder is responsible, ensuring recruitment follows safer recruitment guidelines.

  • Promote the highest standard of professional conduct through modelling outstanding practice, ensuring confidentiality, equality and respect to all staff.

  • To promote equality, diversity, rights and responsibilities of all clients and staff
