Team Leaders for Supporting Living with Vulnerable Adults



Salary: £8.50 per hour dependant on qualifications and experience

Hours: Full Time, Permanent Contract- Variety of shifts days and nights (must be flexible)

Drivers: Desirable but not Essential

One of our biggest clients has an exciting opening for Team Leader(s) who have a strong background of working with complex needs, complex personal and family backgrounds, learning and/or behavioural conditions.

Therefore, the role of the Team Leader is to lead a team of Support Workers in providing a therapeutic, supportive, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives.

In accordance with Care Quality Commission, The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The White Paper Valuing People, the Deputy manager will endeavour to contribute and participate in providing quality support, care and life experiences to the service user based upon the six basic values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment

The role of the Team Leader requires:

A minimum of 12 months experience in Adult Supportive Living

Ideally will have or working towards NVQ Health and Social Care Level 2/3

Good listening and communication skills

Training in PBM and Team Leading would be desirable

Must be able to work a variety of shifts and be part of the first response team which is paid on top of their hourly rate

An Enhanced CRB Check is required (Met by candidate, reimbursed after 6 months of employment)
