Service Manager for Supporting Living

Location: Bristol, Avon

Hours: Monday -Friday (9-5pm) with requirement to work on call on a rota basis

Salary £26,000 - £33,000, Dependent on experience and qualifications

One of our biggest clients has an exciting opening for a Service Manager to work with a team of around 25-30 Support Workers/Team Leaders in a supporting living environment.

Service Users accessing the services of my client will have complex needs, complex personal and family backgrounds, learning and/or behavioural conditions

Therefore, the role of the Service Manager is to help provide a therapeutic, supportive, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives

In accordance with Care Quality Commission, The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The White Paper Valuing People, the manager will endeavour to contribute and participate in providing quality support, care and life experiences to the service user based upon the six basic values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment

The role of the Service Manager requires:

2-3 years previous experience as a Service Manager in a similar setting

Must hold a full driver licence and own car

NVQ Level 5 qualified in Health and Social Care

Ideally is a Registered Manager or willing to become registered in time

An Enhanced CRB Check is required for all these positions (Met by candidate, reimbursed after 6 months of employment)
