Location: Bristol, Avon

Hours: Must be available to work a variety of shifts as well as office based

Salary: £9.61 rising to £10.09 after successful probation period

One of our biggest clients has an exciting opening for a Deputy Manager to work with the Service Manager to supervise a team of around 25-30 Support Workers/Team Leaders in a supporting living environment.

Service Users accessing the services of my client will have complex needs, complex personal and family backgrounds, learning and/or behavioural conditions

Therefore, the role of the Deputy Manager is to help assist the Service Manager in providing a therapeutic, supportive, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives

In accordance with Care Quality Commission, The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The White Paper Valuing People, the Deputy manager will endeavour to contribute and participate in providing quality support, care and life experiences to the service user based upon the six basic values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment

The role of the Service Manager requires:

2-3 years previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a similar setting

Must hold a full driver licence and own car

NVQ Level 3/4 qualified in Health and Social Care

Ideally be personable, confident and have a positive attitude

An Enhanced CRB Check is required (Met by candidate, reimbursed after 6 months of employment)
