Title: Centre Manager, Central and East London
Location: London based, with some travel in the UK
Hours: Permanent, full time role
Salary: £32,000-£36,500 a year (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance at £2,918 a year) depending on skills and experience

Reporting to the Regional Manager for the South East, the Centre Manager for Central and East London will be responsible for the management of a key group of three properties in the South-East region, a well-established project in the Company portfolio.
This will include high-level and day to day management of the centres and relevant staff, working within the Company's policies and procedures.
We are currently in the process of developing a new flagship property on the Cambridge Heath Road in East London.
You will be actively involved in the development of the Cambridge Heath Road project: your key tasks will include opening the new building and facilitating many of our existing Development House tenants moving across to the new property.
Other key duties will include:
, Responsibility for the day-to-day tenant and service-focused operations in the Central and South East properties and further properties which might form part of our portfolio in the future.
, Line management of the Office and Services Manager and the Building and Maintenance Manager, you will supervise, motivate and monitor the performance of these staff.
, Responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centres including developing processes, procedures and policies.
, Responsibility for the service charge budgets for each centre, in conjunction with the Regional Manager, including the performance of the buildings financially, socially and environmentally.
We are looking for an excellent communicator with strong organisational, planning and reporting skills.
Your management style is to lead by example and you are able to manage and support staff whilst delivering your own workload.
You are a problem-solver, able to keep calm and think flexibly to meet changing priorities.
You will have strong customer service skills, with substantial management experience.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and capable of managing, motivating and developing an enthusiastic and skilled team.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate:
, Previous experience of hands-on management of commercial properties at a senior level.
, Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate at a range of different levels.
, Well-developed staff management skills and experience.
, Some knowledge and a strong interest in the social and environmental performance of buildings, particularly in relation to energy and water use, recycling, green commuting and disabled access.
, Experience of managing and reporting on a budget.
, Confident in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets, Word, and Outlook.
, A good understanding of the sectors in which our tenants work.
, A proactive problem-solver.
