Governance Support Officer

Livability is a national Christian disability and community engagement charity that delivers a variety of community projects, disability care services and training resources across the UK.

That's why, since 1844, we've been campaigning, training and pioneering projects & services to help improve the wellbeing and social inclusion of disabled adults and children.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about good governance to work for a national Christian disability and community engagement charity as part of the secretariat team.

Part-Time Hours: 15 hours per week, Wednesday : Friday afternoons with occasional extensions to the early evening, for which time off in lieu will be given.

5 weeks' annual leave and Bank Holidays.

(1pm : 6pm but could be 12pm : 5pm)

Role Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated individual to become Governance Support Officer at our brand new office in North Greenwich.

Working in a fast-paced setting, the post holder will provide high quality administrative support to a small, busy secretariat which supports the central trustee governance arrangements.

The successful candidate will efficiently, flexibly and diligently; be proficient in the use of MS Office; have a rapid typing speed, possess good experience of minuting formal meetings so as to be able to provide an efficient and professional governance support service.
