Payroll Executive - Temporary

Service Care Solutions are an expanding recruitment agency in Preston, Lancashire.

As part of our growth we are currently recruiting for a Temporary Payroll Executive to join our internal Finance Team.

The role will be for 3 months.

Service Care Solutions is a specialist Recruitment agency providing temporary and permanent staff to various organisations nationwide.

We supply staff to NHS trusts, local authorities and various other clients across the UK.

We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated individual who has excellent attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be organised, a good communicator and have the necessary drive and focus to work to strict deadlines.

As a Payroll Executive you will assist the current Payroll Executive in managing our contractor payroll and reporting to the Finance Team Leader/Divisional Manager-Finance.

You will liaise with internal staff, umbrella companies and our clients in order to ensure a smooth running of our two weekly payrolls.

With the added benefit of gaining experience in and working on our Accounts receivable and reporting to the Finance Team Leader with managing incoming payments into the business.

Your key responsibilities will be:

, The input of manual timesheets and keeping on top of the online timesheet portal timesheets and the timesheet import wizards
, Identifying fraudulent timesheets or if copy/forged signatures are used
, Dealing with contractor queries such as a breakdown of hours/pay
, Producing accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders where required
, Analysing reports to ensure that clients can be selected as portal or online timesheets process
, Check reports and ensure accuracy for payroll processing
, Ensure adherence to relevant legislation
, Keeping relevant payroll records in the correct folders
, Saving and where applicable printing contractor timesheets and expenses
, Filing of any payroll documents in the relevant place.

, Any other office admin (front or back office) when directed

Your basic working hours will be between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am - 5pm on Friday.
