Team Leader - Supported Living - Rochdale

Salary - £17,000 (plus bonus scheme OTE £20,000)

My client is a leading provider based across the UK, with services in the North East and West for vulnerable adults.

I am recruiting for an experienced Team Leader within Supported Living or adults autism/learning disabilities service.

You will be overseeing a staff team within a 4 bedded Supported Living service with an accompanying Outreach Service also.

The successful candidate must have

  • NVQ Level 3

  • Minimum 2 years leading a team in a CQC service

  • Experience with either Domiciliary Care or Supported Living

  • Experience working with learning disabilities or mental health

  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding

  • Positive attitude to providing excellent care

  • Driving License and vehicle

The Team Leader's main responsibilities are to

  • Report directly to the Service Manager

  • Effectively manage a staff team

  • Safeguard clients at all times

  • Recruit, retain and appraise staff

  • Correctly record and store staff and client records

  • Be influential in the staff team's morale

  • Promote independence at all times
