Training Manager

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Training Manager with a sound operational background to drive forward the strategy for training for our client based at Heathrow.

The successful candidate should have a proven track record in delivering exceptionally high standards of Learning and Development process and policy.

Defining and driving forward the Company's approach.

The candidate is required to devise, influence and deliver opportunities that add further value to our company in terms of customer service, staff development and net cost benefit.

They will be required to consistently demonstrate a high level of commitment, business awareness and corporate image.

Key duties:

  • Leadership Training on Customer Service

  • Driving forward our USP of Customer Service and developing a best in Class approach (including Investors in People).

  • Evaluating the market to ensure up skilling and learning from other industries

  • Making Customer Service part of the DNA of our organisation.

  • Liaise with Operational & Senior Managers regarding training issues, set monthly training plans & employee focus lists

  • Produce monthly training report

  • Responsible for the preparing, tailoring and facilitation of all levels of training programs from new employee orientation to annual refreshers (health & safety, customer service and standards training, technical on the job training, supervisory skill)

  • Audit areas of the business to ensure standards & training gaps are identified

  • Customer Service and developing the cornerstone of our values.

  • Operating at a Senior/Director level with input into relationship building and commercial development

We are looking for professionals with the following:

  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of e-mail, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Must be able to demonstrate proven success in a training and development leadership role

  • Must be able to demonstrate clear strategy development and implementation at a Board level

  • Must have management experience
