Account Executive - SaaS, Big Data

Our client is a a leading and global vendor of SaaS solutions and they are building a new team.

They are looking for a dynamic Account Executive who already has a successful track record in Cloud/ERP who does not mind hitting the phones to drive the pipeline and make a significant impact at the start.

As a Global Company all procedures are in place to help the Account Executive and the team be successful thegoals are achievable and the product ready to go to market.

Account Executive Tasks

  • Achieve/exceed quota targets

  • Develop effective and specific territory plans

  • Develop relationships in new and existing customers

  • Ideally understand Value Engineering, benchmarking and ROI data and how they support the customer's decision process.

  • Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline

  • Work with Marketing, Inside sales, Partners and channels to funnel pipeline into the assigned territory

  • Advance and close sales opportunities

  • Support all promotions and events in the territory

  • Understand best practice sales models

  • Understand competition and effectively position solutions against them

  • Maintain CRM system

  • Demonstrate coordination skills in the orchestration of remote teams

  • Ensure account teams and Partners are well versed in each account's strategy

Account Executive Experience

  • 5+ years software sales experience

  • Cloud and ERP knowledge is a distinct advantage

  • Proven track record in business application software sales

  • Record of over-achievement

  • Experience in a team-selling environment

  • Demonstrated success with sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market

  • Proven experience of New Business Development

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
