French Admin/Marketing Account Assistant Position

Our lovely client is a Sussex-based digital marketing and ecommerce consultancy agency who specialise in advertising products online using multi-channel marketing to reach the widest audience possible; specifically using platforms such as Amazon, eBay, client websites and other marketplaces.

Their primary client is a leading gadget supplier who are a world leaders in the design and manufacture of innovative consumer electronic accessories; they are a well-established and fast growing online retail company.

They are looking for a self-motivated and highly organised individual to help support clients accounts and join a well established and expanding team.

You would need to be attentive to detail and able to work individually as well as within a team.

The Role.

The main focus of the role is marketing / copywriting and account support / admin, and actively helping the team grow sales on accounts.

We would also hope that the successful candidate can bring additional skills and knowledge to the team.

As a general overview, responsibilities would include:

, Admin - using our order fulfilment software to process orders, e-mailing (and occasionally phoning) customers and ensuring all stock levels are accurate
, Customer care - customer care cover needed when staff is away / off or during busier times of the year - training will be provided
, Account assistance - helping to look after main clients accounts alongside other accounts, ensuring they are kept in excellent standing with exceptional feedback and customer satisfaction
, Help drive sales on all accounts through creative content, advertising, use of promotional tools etc.

, Copywriting - creating accurate and engaging written content for new product listings
, Market research - monitoring competitor activity and keeping up-to-date with new releases within the consumer electronics sector, and making product suggestions based on this and personal knowledge

Essential skills

, Excellent copywriting skills
, Native French speaker (mother tongue or fluent)
, Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
, Exceptional attention to detail, grammar and punctuation skills
, Strong time management skills and the ability to coordinate a complex, diverse workload
, Good typing speed - minimum of 40 words per minute

Desirable skills

, Experience with selling on ecommerce platforms (Amazon, ebay etc.)
, Experience in a marketing role
, Educated to degree level in a related discipline (marketing, business, French)
, Interested in gadgets/technology
, HTML knowledge

Working hours

, Full-time, 40 hours per week - 7.30 am start preferred but we can be flexible depending on circumstances
, Weekend admin cover on a rota basis (this can be done from home and overtime will be paid.

Alternatively, a maximum of 5 days' worth of overtime can be claimed as time in lieu.

Any surplus hours will be paid.)
, Bank holiday admin cover on a rota basis (this can be done from home and overtime will be paid.)
