Deputy Home Manager

Deputy Care Home Manager - Helensburgh - £34k

The Role
A Deputy Home Manager with experience of working with young people with learning disabilities is required to offer clinical excellence and management support to a dedicated facility in Dunbartonshire.

The Deputy Home Manager will lead the nursing team and offer guidance and support as well as technical input.

You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure high care standards are maintained and residents are treated with respect and dignity, overseeing personal care plans and advising on care issues.

You will act as Home Manager in the manager's absence, as required.

You will carry out regular care audits to ensure quality of care is never compromised.

The Organisation
This is privately-owned care home which is people-centred and committed to attending to the needs of residents of varying ages with dementia or learning disabilities.

A close-knit team which works together to keep standards high ensures that best practice is shared, and requires a leader who is happy and able to share experience and aid in staff development.

The Person
You will be an experienced nurse with some exposure to management, and will have a valid NMC PIN.

You will have worked in a care home setting and be familiar with the benefits and problems associated with such.

You will be a team-player with strong leadership skills who has a genuine interest in training and development
