Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified part time SHEQ Manager to join an organisation in Bristol on a permanent basis.

As SHEQ Manager you will be responsible for all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures within the company.

You will support line management by maintaining and developing all current procedures, ensuring that all systems deliver the best quality of service to customers, whilst maintaining all correct health and safety procedures.


· Maintain and improve integrated quality

· Use Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems:

ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001

· Motivate the continued improvement of all standards throughout the company

· Advise and assist line management when implementing new systems

· Maintain standards including fire prevention and health and safety awareness training

· Investigation of any accidents or incidents that occur

· Ensure all documentation is up to date

· Preparation of IMS audits

· Liaise with HR on issues that affect staff

· Occupational Health and Safety reviews

· Monthly reporting for senior management

· Produce annual SHEQ action plan

Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role and be up to date with all current health and safety procedures.

You will ideally have used the following management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 and will hold relevant Health & Safety qualifications and certificates.

My client is ideally looking for a qualified SHEQ Manager; however those who are qualified by experience will be considered.

This role is available on a part time basis ideally 2-3 days, but there is a good degree of flexibility where working patterns are concerned.
