Senior Quantity Surveyor

A new role has arisen with young bespoke residential developer based in Surrey who are seeking an experienced Senior Quanitity Surveyor to take responsibility for the delivery and cost control of new and current developments in an expanding business.

The company currently has around £60 million in development on sites in Berkshire, Surrey and Suffolk plus another 100+ units in the pipeline from apartments to village houses in the Home Counties/South East of England..

This role will therefore require regular travel between the sites.

They are a design driven company who don't have a house type - they have a strong technical team and work closely with architects on each and every project providing a truly bespoke finished product.

Established in 2011, projects to date generally have been high end traditional build houses, but with lots of projects in the pipeline they are expanding their scope of works; hence the need for a new role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The successful candidate is likely to be already working in a similar position in a residential development/construction company or ready to make the step up to this level.

Ideally you will have an industry relevant degree with at least 4 to 5 years post qualification experience, be interested in managing challenging projects and display a good all round commercial awareness.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong surveyor with a proven track record looking to progress their career to the next level.

Compiling information for viability/feasibility studies to support decision-making in site acquisition and development.

Updating and maintaining records.

Maintaining budget control throughout developments.

Monthly cost/value reconciliations.

In return you can expect a competitve salary with both a car allowance and fuel card, opportunities for personal and professional growth
and 25 days paid holiday.
